Youth in Food Systems is a program of Seeds of Diversity Canada that works to engage youth in food systems learning, skills development, and agri-food career exploration through several in-person and remote projects across Waterloo Region and throughout Ontario. Since April 2021, over 320 youth aged 14-19 have participated in the program, accumulating over 3400 community service hours. We are embarking on Season 4 of the Food Leader Interview Series this year and are looking for Interviewers to lead the project!

Since 2021, our youth Interviewers have carried out 25 video and audio interviews, spotlighting 25 unique and important careers in Canadian food systems. Are you ready to join the next cohort of leaders?

Duties
  • conduct virtual video interviews with professionals working in Canadian food systems
  • participate in training
  • design interview questions
  • coordinate meetings with selected Interviewees
  • utilize Zoom to carry out the (20-30 minute) conversation
